Favourite Genre Of Music And Why?

What is your favorite genre of music and why?

Mine would have to be Rock.

I love my Metal, Punk, Alternative and Jazz and most recently Classical but Rock is my genre.

So many of my favorite bands are Rock and there are so many sub genre's of Rock. Soft Rock, hard Rock, Psychedelic rock ... You name it. originating of Blues, it is just such a solid piece of music with great beats and lyrics. Definitely my favorite genre.

How bout you?

Well, I sing songs of the Jazz standard, but as far as listening goes, I, too, like rock's sub-genres. It's too hard to be specific, so ROCK is a good answer. I like punk rock and alternative rock. You know what I'm sayin'?

Country, it just suits me. It is me. Most of the songs I listen to relate to me in some way. Like I said, it's just me.

Rock and basicly everything that branches off from that. Especially Alternative. All my favorite bands are rock based bands and I just love the music you know. Guitars and Drums rule.

Rap/Hip-hop and the reason is because I like heavy bass-lines with complicated tunes, and quick fast-flowing lyrics.
