One of the greatest rappers of all-time imo. His wordplay is great and his songs are catchy rap. The Blueprint is, to me, one of the greatest albums of all-time.

I can't deny Jay-Z's ability. He's the third best rapper of all-time, in my opinion. His albums can be kinda inconsistant, sometimes being amazing and sometimes being meh, but that's because he's set such high standards for himself. The Black Album is one of the greatest albums ever, it's quality song after quality song and he Blueprint, as Bolton said, is another brilliant album. He's got great lyrical talent and flow. 'Dead Presidents II', '99 Problems' and 'Ignorant Shit' would be my favourite Jay songs.
